Estelle was born in Lyon and grew up in St. Tropez and has always been passionate about food. Inspired by her great-grandmother’s cooking, she started making crepes for her whole family when she was 5. When she was 12, her family moved to St Martin, where she worked at her two family owned restaurants. At the age of 19, she opened up her first catering business and has been cooking for people for over 40 years now.
Estelle has lived in over 8 different countries and specializes in French, Thai, Middle Eastern and Moroccan Kosher Cuisines. She is hired by the best and flown around the world to share her culinary expertise.
She has been recognized by The Culinary Institute of America as a “Chef of Excellence”, was the Former Executive Chef at The Bridge Golf Club in the Hamptons and was VIP Chef at The Viceroy Hotel in Anguilla. Estelle now lives on the North Shore of Kauai an she is known as The Mermaid Chef When she isn’t making extraordinarily delicious food, she loves being in the sea snorkeling, shelling and and swimming with whales.
